Donations

Funding is one of the most pressing needs of the HFH of Berkeley County office. Concerned community members have a number of tax-deductible ways to make donations and help us end substandard housing in Berkeley County. Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Planned Giving

Many of our partners support Habitat through planned gifts, which may qualify for significant tax deductions. Giving options include bequests, charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts.

A charitable gift of stocks or bonds provides an opportunity for tax savings while generously sharing with others. A gift of stock owned for more than one year entitles you to a charitable deduction for the full market value at the time the gift is made. If the stock has appreciated, you also avoid a capital gains tax on the appreciation.

Cars for Homes

Your vehicle donation will help Habitat for Humanity build homes in partnership with families in your community. For more information go to Cars for Homes.


Car donations are another way to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity.
When you donate a car to Cars for Homes, you will help your local Habitat for Humanity build and rehabilitate houses with families in need of affordable shelter.
