Volunteer With Habitat for Humanity

There is a volunteer opportunity waiting for you at Habitat! Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County welcomes individuals and groups who are willing to share their time and talents in our office, at the ReStore, on construction sites and working with partner families.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Construction Sites

There are so many benefits to volunteering on a construction site. Volunteers learn skills that they can use to maintain and update their own homes. You will build your confidence by trying something you’ve never attempted before and will leave the site feeling that you have been part of something big. Even if you have never swung a hammer or are a seasoned professional there is a place for you.

Construction site tasks include tasks like framing, window installation, tiling, sheet rocking, painting, siding, landscaping, or site cleanup.

  • ReStore

Working in the ReStore is fun and rewarding! There are plenty of opportunities to get involved from greeting customers and stocking shelves to helping with daily collections around town. Come for a few hours or stay the whole day.
