Our 2025 Collegiate Challenge with Boston College, University of Mary Washington, University of Louisville Catholic,Carroll University, Babson College, Denison University, and University of Wisconsin has officially wrapped up! We are so excited to share this alternative spring break (or should we say "sweat break") week with them! Through their work at Mepkin Abbey, Hutchinson Lane, and the Berkeley Habitat ReStore, we have the opportunity to share our mission of what we do at Berkeley Habitiat - changing the lives of the people in our community and provide affordable housing to those in need.


4 Weeks. 7 Colleges/Universities. 60 Students. 8 Staff. 340 ReStore Hours. 940.5 Construction Hours. 192 Hours of Service at Mepkin Abbey. 1 Home Dedication. 2 Homes framed in ICF. 1 Concrete Wall Pour. 1 Home got her lip stick “Vinyl Siding”.

The 4th annual Playhouse Project was held on Saturday, December 7th at the Lowe’s Distribution Center on Daniel Island. In partnership with Lowe’s Home Improvement, Berkeley Habitat along with the other local affiliates - Charleston Habitat, Dorchester Habitat, East Cooper Habitat, and Sea Island Habitat - came together to provide playhouses for children in need in the tri-county area.
